One of my favorite old cookbooks is Andersonville Skillet, a collection of recipes put together by the Andersonville Guild back in 1980 a book used so much itno longer hasa cover. Hi, Im Lucy! The basic pound cake recipe calls for one package of cream cheese mixed with 3 sticks of butter, 3 cups of sugar, 6 eggs, 3 cups of flour, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, and 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract. I have at least a dozen of those, some dating back to childhood.
